Rodenators, Warrenaters, BurrowBlasters, Tunnel Busters, Varmitgetters, WarrenBlasters, BurrowBlast? What are they?

How many in Use in the U.K.

Estimates range between 2,500 and 3000. Rodenator claim to have the largest share but figures from all vendors are not available.

A research exercise conducted in 2011 indicated that the market is not far from saturation. There are a limited number of farms in the U.K. that are large enough to warrant the use of such a device and that number is estimated at around 3,000.

When talking to a sample of farmers in recent research the vast majority either owned a Burrow Blaster, have a share in one, had access to one when needed or had a Pest Controller operating on the farm who used one.

Some Counties are fully serviced by Burrow Blasters with very few farms not having access to a Burrow Blaster.

Smaller land holdings (less than 100 acres) tend to be closer to towns and neighbours where the use of a Burrow Blaster is not recommended.
